GGSIPU Opens Correction Window and Fresh Registration for BAMS Counselling 2025
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), a state university established by the Government of NCT Delhi, issued a notification on 6 September 2025. The update applies to candidates under the 85% Delhi State Quota for the Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme.
The university opened the correction/edit window, fresh registration, and mandatory upload of documents for Round 1 counselling 2025-26. With this step, GGSIPU aims to ensure transparency, maintain accurate candidate data, and guarantee fair seat allotment.
The correction/edit facility will remain open from 8 September 2025 (2:00 PM) to 11 September 2025 (11:00 PM). During this period, candidates can correct details such as category, sub-category, and region. In addition, students must upload their Class XII mark sheet, reserved category certificates, and NEET UG 2025 scorecard.
The university warned that failing to provide valid and correct documents will result in losing the allotted seat. Moreover, applicants under the Defence sub-category must mark their status accurately, submit documents, and follow Appendix-1 guidelines. Otherwise, GGSIPU will reject their claim.
Key Dates, Choice Filling, and Result of Round 1
GGSIPU released the schedule for fresh registration, choice filling, and declaration of the Round 1 result for NEET UG 2025 qualified candidates seeking BAMS admission.
Correction/Edit window with document upload: 8 September 2025 (2:00 PM) – 11 September 2025 (11:00 PM)
Fresh registration for counselling: 8 September 2025 (2:00 PM) – 11 September 2025 (11:00 PM)
Choice filling/preferences: 8 September 2025 (2:00 PM) – 15 September 2025 (11:00 PM)
Round 1 result declaration: 16 or 17 September 2025
The university made choice filling compulsory for seat allotment. Without submitting preferences online, candidates will not receive admission. GGSIPU strongly advised applicants to fill the maximum number of choices in order of preference to improve their chances of securing a seat.
The university uploaded cut-off data from previous years on the official portal to help candidates make informed decisions. GGSIPU also advised students and parents to visit affiliated colleges in advance to check infrastructure, hostel facilities, and transportation, since the university will not entertain requests regarding location or distance later.
GGSIPU confirmed that it will base admissions strictly on the NEET UG 2025 All India Rank, as per NMC/DCI/NCISM regulations, and it will consider only candidates who meet the minimum percentile. The university clarified that students with pending Class XII compartment results will remain ineligible for admission.
The university reiterated that candidates bear full responsibility for providing accurate details. If GGSIPU finds any false or incorrect information at any stage, it will cancel the admission and forfeit the fees.
With the Round 1 result scheduled by mid-September 2025, this notice gives NEET UG aspirants under the Delhi State Quota a crucial update for securing BAMS seats in affiliated colleges.
