Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Dwarka, New Delhi, has scheduled the Sports Trial for admission under the Sports Quota for the Academic Session 2025-26. The Directorate of Students’ Welfare announced that eligible candidates must report on September 1, 2025, at 9:00 AM sharp at the Dwarka campus to participate in the selection.
The Sports Admission Committee will conduct the trials, while videographers will record the entire process for transparency. By holding these trials, GGSIPU aims to recognize student-athletes who combine sporting excellence with academic ambition.
The Directorate of Students’ Welfare (DSW) will host the trials at Sector 16-C, Dwarka. Ahead of the event, the university instructed its horticulture department to complete grass-cutting and prepare the sports grounds, ensuring a smooth and professional environment for the participants.

The university released a list of 23 candidates who earned eligibility for the trials across a variety of disciplines, including athletics, basketball, chess, football, judo, shooting, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball.
