GGSIPU Extends Special Round of Offline Counselling for UG and PG Admissions 2025-26

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Dwarka, officially extended the special round of offline counselling for UG and PG admissions 2025-26 based on CUET scores. This extension offers a final opportunity for candidates who missed earlier rounds to secure admission in undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The university issued the notification on September 8, 2025. It clarified that students who had registered earlier, paid the registration fee of ₹2500, and appeared in the CUET merit list with the status “NOT ADMITTED” still qualify. These candidates do not need to re-register, and the university will consider their merit as per their CUET score.

GGSIPU will conduct fresh offline application submission at the Seminar Hall, New Auditorium, Campus Sector-16C, Dwarka, New Delhi, on September 10 and 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The process covers several UG and PG programs including BCA, B.Ed., BHMCT, BA (JMC), B.Com (H), MBA, MCA, MA (Economics), MA (English), M.Sc. (Yoga), and MS (Packaging Technology).

This step particularly benefits students who could not complete online registration earlier. The university emphasized that it will allocate vacant seats after the special round to these candidates, ensuring maximum utilization of available seats.

Offline Counselling Schedule and Eligibility Criteria

The university divided the schedule for form submission into two days:

  • September 10, 2025 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM): Programs such as BCA, B.Ed., B.Ed. (Special Education), BHMCT, BA Packaging Technology, BBA & allied programs, BA (JMC), B.Com (H), BA English (Integrated BA-MA), and BA Economics (Integrated BA-MA).

  • September 11, 2025 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM): Programs including MBA, MCA, MA (MC), MA (English), MA (Economics), M.Sc. (Yoga), and MS (Packaging Technology).

The university also clarified certain restrictions:

  • Candidates who already hold “ADMITTED STATUS” through CUET, CET, or NLT will not qualify for fresh seat allotment in this round.

  • Students admitted through the special offline counselling or through the Special Entrance Test (SET) merit also count as admitted, regardless of whether they reported to the allotted college or withdrew later.

Therefore, only candidates who remain unadmitted qualify for this round and can secure a final chance to study at GGSIPU in 2025-26.

The university urged candidates to review the Admission Brochure 2025-26 carefully and stay updated with the latest notifications on the official GGSIPU website.
