New Delhi, August 22, 2025 – Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has announced a special round of GGSIPU offline counselling to fill vacant seats for the academic session 2025–26. The process will begin on August 27, 2025, and the detailed schedule will be available on August 25 at www.ipu.ac.in. Candidates who missed out on earlier counselling rounds now have another opportunity to secure admission.

Programmes Covered in GGSIPU Offline Counselling 2025

The GGSIPU offline counselling round applies to seats that remain vacant after Spot Round 2 reporting. Aspirants can secure admission in a variety of programmes, including:

  • BCA

  • B.Ed.

  • BBA and allied programmes

  • Five-year integrated BBA–MBA

  • BA (Journalism & Mass Communication)

  • Lateral Entry B.Tech (Diploma holders)

  • B.Tech

  • B.Com (Hons.)

  • B.Ed. (Special Education)

  • BA (English)

  • BA (Economics)

These programmes cater to students with diverse academic interests, ensuring ample opportunities for candidates across streams.

Key Guidelines for Candidates

To participate in the GGSIPU offline counselling 2025, candidates must follow these key rules:

  • Only candidates without an allotted seat as of August 25, 2025, can participate.

  • Students admitted under the management quota are not eligible.

  • The University will prioritize seat allotment based on CET/NLT scores first, and then CUET merit if seats remain.

  • Candidates must attend the offline counselling at GGSIPU in person. Exceptions apply only for genuine medical reasons.

  • Once a seat is allotted, candidates cannot request a change of college.

  • Students must verify that they meet all eligibility and qualification requirements for their chosen programme.

Purpose of the Special Round

The University aims to help candidates who could not secure admission during earlier online counselling phases. By holding this offline counselling at GGSIPU, the University ensures that deserving students still get a chance to join their preferred programmes.
