New Delhi, September 10, 2025: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), a state university under the Government of NCT of Delhi, has extended the Special Round of GGSIPU Offline Counselling 2025 for CUET-based admissions. The university issued Notification No. 321/2025 on September 9, 2025, and uploaded it on its official website, ipu.ac.in. This extension of GGSIPU Offline Counselling 2025 follows Notification No. 318/2025, released on September 8, 2025. The university clarified that candidates with an “Admitted Status” in a programme through CUET, CET, or NLT cannot reapply for the same programme. However, these candidates can apply for other programmes where their status shows “Not Admitted.”

Key Details on the Extended Special Counselling Round

GGSIPU urged applicants to review earlier notices, especially Notification No. 313/2025 (September 4) and Notification No. 318/2025 (September 8). These documents explain eligibility rules and procedures in detail.

The university advised candidates to check its portals — ipu.ac.in and ipu.admissions.nic.in — for updates. It also encouraged students to read the UG and PG Admission Brochure 2025–26 for guidelines, norms, and available programmes.

University officials said they introduced this extension to support students. “We want to give candidates more time and flexibility to secure seats in preferred courses,” they stated.

Prof. Udayan Ghose, Director Incharge (Academic), issued the notification. Dr. Vijay Kumar, Dy. Registrar (Academic), circulated it. The university also forwarded copies to the Vice Chancellor’s office, Registrar, UITS for web upload, and the Public Relations Office for display on notice boards.

With this extension, GGSIPU reaffirmed its student-first approach. The university continues to ensure a transparent and structured admission process in line with CUET guidelines.
