NEW DELHI, September 1, 2025 – Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Dwarka, New Delhi, has extended the deadline for Spot Round-1 counselling fee payment for the 2025–26 academic session. The revised schedule gives candidates more time to pay the Part Academic Fee of ₹96,000 after the declaration of Spot Round-1 results.

Extended Deadline for Spot Round Counselling Fee Payment

The notification, issued on September 1, 2025, applies to the following programmes:

  • Master of Law (LL.M.) – Programme Code 112 (CLAT PG 2025 based)

  • Integrated BA-LL.B / BA-LL.B (Hons.) / BBA-LL.B / BBA-LL.B (Hons.) – Programme Code 121 (CLAT UG 2025 based)

Revised schedule:

  • Fee Payment (₹96,000 through Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card): September 1, 2025, up to 11:50 PM

  • Printing of Provisional Seat Allotment Letter: September 1, 2025, up to 11:59 PM

The extension covers only candidates who secured seats in Spot Round-1. Students must pay the fee within the revised timeline; otherwise, the university will cancel their allotment. They must also download the provisional seat allotment letter and keep it for future admission formalities.

The University has clarified that all other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Students should regularly check ipu.ac.in and ipu.admissions.nic.in for updates regarding Spot Round counselling and upcoming admission rounds. The admission brochure for 2025–26 provides detailed guidelines that candidates must follow.

Dr. Vijay Kumar, Deputy Registrar (Academic), signed the notification and directed staff to upload the revised schedule on the official website and display it on campus notice boards. GGSIPU explained that the extension will help students finish the admission process without unnecessary pressure.

By extending the Spot round counselling fee payment deadline, GGSIPU has given law aspirants a crucial opportunity to confirm their admission by paying the fee and downloading their seat allotment letter before September 1, 2025, 11:50 PM.
