The University Maharani College, Jaipur is one of the oldest and premier constituent colleges for females situated at the pink city of India Jaipur, Rajasthan and has started its journey in 1944. This co-educational institution has been imparting education for more than seven decades and provides the following undergraduate courses in arts, science, commerce and computer applications. As now having 26 courses under 8 different degree programmes the college offers a great number of opportunities to its students. It is located at Ram Singh Road and is well connected with other parts of the country and offers all infrastructural amenities to provide all round education.

An outstanding list of facilities serve to support and improve the student experience in the college. The bright and spacious girls’ hostel, which can accommodate 360 students, becomes a confirmation of the advanced provision of comfortable conditions for living for girls – students of the institution. A rich catalogue of over 4.7 lakh books and bound periodicals compiled in the central library provides the basic seating capacity of 400. Besides the aforesaid guidelines, students also get a chance to refer about 150 current journals and 7000 e- journals from the UGC-INFONET consortium. The college’s information technology feature enables the students to be in touch in this current world. In share, the campus has planned medical shops that are facilities forallopathic ,ayurvedic, homeopathic system of medicines with in addition to health checkup camps. There are many sports facilities to which the students can proceed in other to have a balanced lifestyle.
University Maharani College has a full-fledged spectrum of first-degree coursework to accommodate a broad range of student academic preferences. There is no wifi. Even canteen is not properly maintained. Classroom needs an upgradation to modern classrooms like smart boards. Medical facilities are not so good. Labs are not well maintained, systems are not updated they use window 7 or even older than that.

- Girls Hostel
The University has well-furnished hostel accommodation for the Girl's students. The Hostel is one of the oldest hostels of University Constituent Colleges. It has a glorious history of 67 years with its inauguration done by the then Governor of Rajasthan. Mother Teresa Hostel came into existence much later as an extension to Annie Besant Hostel due to the increasing number of applicants. Mother Teresa Hostel was inaugurated by the then Governor of Rajasthan, His Excellency Shree Anshuman Singh with Prof. K.L. Kamal, Vice-Chancellor, of the University of Rajasthan. Presently, both the hostels provide residence to 360 girls after an increase of 20 seats in the academic session 2014-15. The students from all the streams of Arts, Science, Commerce, Home Science, and Computer applications are given admission to the hostel on a merit basis. In each year of graduation (I, II, and III) 50 students are from Arts, 25 from Science (Maths and Biology), and 25 from Commerce. The remaining seats have a pre-defined division between sports quota, home science; management, and computer applications.
- Library
The University has Central library is located near the main gate of the University. It has a seating capacity of about 400 students. It has more than 4.7 lac books and bound periodicals etc. The Library subscribes to about 150 current journals and popular magazines relating to various subjects. In addition, about 7000 E-Journals are available for online access under the UGC-INFONET E-Journals consortium.
- I.T Infrastructure
The University has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
- Medical/Hospital
The University Campus has dispensaries of Allopathic, Ayurvedic, and Homeopathy. Essential medicines are provided free of cost. Medical health check-up camps, both routine and specialized (ECG, B.P., Blood Sugar, Bone Mass Density, Pulmonary Function Tests, Prostate Screening, and other Urological Tests) are organized from time to time. The Health Center is providing curative, comprehensive, preventive counseling, and rehabilitative, (Including remedial Yoga counseling) services to the students, teachers, employees & their dependents).
