This attribute makes it the first of its kind as an automated library in the list of engineering colleges in Kerala. The campus has a central computer and Internet services which help students to get information and improve their knowledge. For health and wellness, UCEK has employed a medical team that include doctors, nurses and health workers. Contained here is also a listing of sport facilities to meet the needs of all students of the college. Ensuring the necessities of students of different type, three canteens are available in the campus providing hygienic and quality food at very cheap rates, a college store providing educational requirements and stationery material, newspapers etc. This is a Constituent College of University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.University College of Engineering Kariavattom offers a limited number of engineering undergraduate courses. The institute provides three full-time B.Tech courses: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology.
