The VITS Polytechnic, Satna, was set up in 2016 and is an affiliated college situated at Satna in Madhya Pradesh. There is also a well-provided gym on campus to ensure that the students are in proper health contact for some activities. For academic activities, it has a spacious central library that contains more than 52,000 books and subscribes to more than 250 general and technical journals. It is a computerised library and has e-journals through INDEST and DELNET sources, thus providing students with many resources for study.
During downtime, the VITS Polytechnic provides five diploma courses, which are all full-time. These are Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying, Diploma in Civil Engineering, and Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering.
