Srisaila College of Education, Harihar is one of the oldest colleges in Karnataka, established to prepare many future teachers in the nation. The college is located at Vageesh Nagar, Harihar, and has an elaborate admission procedure for the education courses offered in it. The college is also a NAAC accredited institution as well as NCTE approved, which implies the institution carries out a rigorous selection procedure in order to maintain excellence in education.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Ed: It is a two-year full-time course. Admission to the B.Ed program is strictly merit-based dependent on marks secured in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. This follows the norm set either by the state government or UT administration or the affiliated university.

M.Ed: This program of Master of Education (M.Ed) was also termed as a two-year full-time course being offered by the college. M.Ed Program has sanctioned intake according to norms. Admission to this program will be based on merit, according to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, entrance test or any other way formulated as per the norms of the government and university. This postgraduate program promotes students to continue their advanced studying in education.
