The SRPTC started in 1996 to provide quality technical education, education is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Located in a large 30 acres complex; it provides diploma courses in engineering fields. SRPTC is an affiliated college which has the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) sanction on it hence a quality provision of education is offered with due incorporating of the curriculum affairs in the industry. The college has many fine facilities to aid and enhance students’ learning and all round development. The rich library resources and information centre provide easy access to both print and electronic books, journals and other forms of information(geometry, technology, engineering and science and other related fields). In learning laboratories, SRPTC has equipped with modern and well equipped sophisticated laboratories and workshops like Fluid Mechanics Lab, Foundry and Welding shops, Power Mechanics lab, CAD/CAM lab equipped with latest software and engineering wise workshops. The college also provides students with a new-generational gymnasium and the necessary facilities for athletic, basketball, volleyball, football, and cricket.
SRPTC provides eight official full-time diploma courses, which are all three year programmes.
