There are two Boys hostel – Dr TMA Pai Boys hostel and S D Samrajya memorial Boys hostel up to 240 students and one Girls’ hostel. Both these hostels offer neat and clean vegetarian food and some of the features include Gymnasiums/Indoor games, etc. AVLM’s chief institutional resource is the technological shake-up in the college library that is a treasure trove of over twelve thousand volumes of technical book across engineering branches. The athletes are also well-catered for as the college has enclosed and open sporting arenas giving the students a way to exercise as they study. There is also a sports and student activity centre in the institution that offers technical display, literary events and cultural shows among others.
SN Mudbidri Polytechnic conducts a total of seven day diploma courses of three-year duration for the entire programme. The capacity of the institute is approved to admit only 420 students from all the programmes offered. These programmes include Diploma in Mechatronics, Computer Science and Engineering, Automobile, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Two boys' hostels named Dr. TMA Pai Boys Hostel and S D Samrajya Memorial Boys Hostel are available for the students. Total accommodation is for 240 students. Hygienic vegetarian food is served to all inmates of the hostel.
