Separate hostels for boys and girls are present in the college with capacities of 482 students and 216 students, respectively. These hostels are provided with proper environments, 24-hour electricity supply, Wi-Fi connectivity, and common rooms fitted with LCDs. An adequately stocked library that contains more than 11,490 titles and 42,653 journals is also present on campus, which turns out to be of great importance in the academic pursuit. It also has a very well-equipped gym for health and fitness and a medical room that provides ambulance service if there is an emergency. Besides, it has the facility of playing basketball, football, cricket, and other indoor games.
The college is offering three full-time B.Tech programmes in the fields of Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Each programme is designed to be a four-year course that will deliver students a deep concentration in that specialisation.
RMSCET admits students on the basis of merit alone to all undergraduate programmes of engineering.
