The College provides medical aid facilities for the students in emergency cases. Medical Doctors visit the college on call, for any medical needs of students and staff members. The college has A well-equilateral component of any education system, especially of higher education. Without proper information and knowledge infrastructure, no education system can sustain and achieve its stated goals and objectives. A library is a hub of all activities of general as well as technical education. The Central Library at SMVITM is housed in a spacious three-story state-of-the-art independent block. Two floors of the block are occupied exclusively by the Central Library. It has about 1300 square meters of built-up area. The Central Library has a collection of 28,000 volumes of reference/textbooks, e-books, and general category books with over 3,500 titles. In addition to these, there are periodicals and CDs on science, engineering, and technology. The collection includes reference books such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks, and standards. The library offers a book bank scheme for the students, a special book bank scheme exclusively for SC/ST students, reprography, and printing facilities. The library subscribes to e-journals and print journals. An e-learning center providing live transmission of the VTU EDUSAT program is a special feature of the Central Library. In addition to the central library, each department has a separate departmental library for ready reference for its faculty and staff. SMVITM libraries serve as information resource centers. They adopt an open access system and aim to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for library users of the institute and facilitate the efficient dissemination of knowledge. To promote the use of library resources, it also subscribes to the e-resources mandated by AICTE and VTU like IEEE Online, ELSEVIER, ASCE, Springer, Proquest, Taylor, and Francis, and K-Nimbus. These e-resources can be accessed across the campus

There are multiple sports facilities to keep our students and staff engaged and physically fit. Every student is encouraged to take an active part in outdoor and indoor activities. Our college has set up facilities/grounds for athletics and games such as cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, throw the ball, javelin throw, discus throw, kabaddi, tennis, badminton, table-tennis, chess, carom and many more.

The college provides good IT Infrastructure facilities like dedicated Internet Browsing Centre for the benefit of all department students is being developed. All classrooms have provisions for the multimedia facility to ensure that the students benefit fully from the technological advancements that can supplement and enrich classroom transactions.

SMVITM campus has a separate cafeteria that is well ventilated and clean with a sufficient number of seating and service capacity for students/staff. The Cafeteria provides hygienic and delicious South Indian, North Indian, Chinese food items. It also provides bakery items, chats, fruit juices, and a variety of ice creams.

The institution has a conference room, board room, and seminar halls, to conduct meetings, conferences, workshops, and symposia for students, faculty/staff. It is equipped with an LCD projector and a public address system.

The Institution provides bus facilities to daily commuters for both students and staff from Udupi, Kundapur, Hiriyadka, Saibarakatte, and Manipal. Around 300 commuters avail of this facility for conveyance to and from the college. An Institutional Bus coordinator is available for any queries regarding transportation.

The institution provides a high-speed internet facility through Wi-Fi technology for academic purposes, to stay advanced and provide students with the best of the latest services by enabling them to access the internet through the wireless router, anytime and anywhere on the campus.

The college has a Well equipped, and well-maintained laboratories with sufficient hardware and licensed/open source software are available in each department to carry out curriculum-oriented lab practicals, hands-on sessions, and research activities.

The college has a stationery shop and also a photocopying center inside the campus with subsidized rates for the benefit of students.
