Established in the year 1971, Shri Bankatswami Mahavidyalaya, Beed, is a college affiliated with University of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada, located in Beed, Maharashtra. Built on a compact 2.1-acre campus, this college has been a constant source of education for the region for over five decades. The college has a present enrollment of 1,551 students in various streams supported by 25 faculty members. Now, this Shri Bankatswami Mahavidyalaya offers three undergraduate degree courses; hence, evidently fulfilling the diversified academic interests of students belonging to the streams of arts, commerce, and science.
The college has many facilities that provide good student experience and promote better academic activities. There is a separate library building in which an enriched reading room is situated with a book bank scheme for economically backward students. The college has an accommodation facility to a capacity of 28 boys, mostly to the underprivileged sectional students, in the boys’ hostel. Shri Bankatswami Mahavidyalaya runs three full-time Undergraduate Programmes: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce, and Bachelor of Science. Each of these programmes has a duration of 3 years.
