Shadan College of Education was started in the year 1988 in the heart of the city Khairatabad, Hyderabad is one of the most recognised teacher training college in the region. Name of the co-educational institute – Shrimant Madhavraoавливаmal College of Education, Facilities – Drinking water, Transport, Hostel, Internet, Library, Laboratory, Medical, Computer, Playground, Canteen, located in a small campus area of 0.62 acres is especially focused on preparation of future educators. Being an affiliated college of Osmania University and being identified by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) the college strictly follows the norms of standardised education standards. It currently offers education to 200 learners, so the institute has a dense academic personnel with 16 qualified and experienced faculty members.

Shadan College of Education has various teaching amenities that aim at improving the learning process of prospective instructors in the college. The following are well facilitated amenities; a large but well organised rich Stocked Library staffed with professional Librarians and technologists. The institute boasts highly developed laboratory resources – ten laboratories dedicated to diverse elements of teacher training. These are Bio-S sciences, Physical sciences and mathematics, social studies and psychology and case study, Cultural and SUPW, physical and health education, language and educational technology, computer and a modern computer Lab with 21 computers scanners, printers and photocopying facility. These different types of laboratories give students practical experience, and hone the skills they will need as educators when they leave the college.
Shadan College of Education has only one course, but it is more specific as it is called the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). This is a two-year full time course, however commensurate with the institute’s emphasis on providing rigorous basic training for teachers. This B.Ed programme at Shadan College has extended an approved student intake of one hundred in every academic session to nurture a set of few privileged candidates with passion towards teaching profession.
