School of Pharmacy and Research, People’s University, Bhopal, India started functioning from academic year 2007-08 with the mission of creating a centre of excellence in the field of pharmacy and pharmaceutical research. This constituent college of People’s University is situated in Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, that covers 2.5 acres of land. Its operating colleges and institutes are approved by AICTE and PCI thereby maintaining high standard of education. The Institute has a faculty of 34 skilled professionals who provide for three programmes in pharmacy that are the B.Pharma, M.Pharma and the Diploma course in various fields of pharmaceutical science.

In order to give the students the best chance to succeed, School of Pharmacy and Research houses many up to date facilities. The modern standard library is fully equipped with modern technology and has given privilege to students and the members of the faculty as well as internet connection across the campus. They are stocked with all the essential working apparatus to provide practical learning in a variety of pharmaceutical specialties. The college also has a great information technology that improves the knowledge of the student regarding the modern technology in the field. In order to meet the needs of the students, the institute offers separate hostels for boys and girls, a cafeteria and adequate car parking space etc. It also has a venue for holding events and seminars, sports facilities for physical activities and a health centre with an infirmary.
The School of Pharmacy and Research offers three full-term courses in pharmacy education. These include a four-year course Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma), two-year post graduate programme Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) in Pharmaceutics and a two-year diploma course Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma).
