The School of Law, VIT-AP University, Amaravati, is the constituent college of the VIT-AP University, which was set up in 2019. This young college is situated in Inavolu, Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh; the college has gained its unique place among the legal studies institutions. Accredited by the Bar Council of India, the college offers three enhanced programmes of Law, two integrated five-years programmes and one doctoral programme. The School of Law has a faculty of twelve committed educationists and seeks to offer standard education in law in a complex, computerised world. Vibrancy with coed features makes students of all genders come and study at the institute, creating a conducive environment.

Every type of legal facility that can be expected to complement the learning process of law students is available at  the School of Law. The classrooms are large and well equipped for all students’ needs, besides being fully furnished and well equipped technologically. A moot court hall with all modern facilities has the capacity to arrange a bench, bar, students’ bench, and witness box to give a real court experience. The library of the institute is well stocked and contains a number of textbooks, journals and law reports. It also has links to online legal databases like Manupatra and LexisNexis, which help in advanced searches of law. The computer lab with standard IT infrastructure helps students in their curriculum activities.

The courses being conducted by the School of Law, VIT-AP University, are only three courses in number, and all of them are full-time. These are two Five Year Integrated Undergraduate Programmes namely the BA LLB (Hons.) course and the BBA LLB Hons courses, each having a sanctioned strength of 120 seats. The third offering is a Ph.D. programme in Law to afford a chance for further research in different spheres of the law.     The college has a moot court hall at VIT-AP School of Law has been designed to give the best experience to the students of the workings of a real courtroom. It is well equipped with features like a Judge’s Bench, a Witness Box, etc. It is a fully air-conditioned hall with a Wi-Fi facility and adequate seating arrangements for both the participants in a moot and observers.

  • I.T Infrastructure

    The college has a well-equipped computer lab with modern equipment made available to the students with a view to inculcating research-oriented legal education, and for the same, the VIT-AP School of Law has subscribed to various online legal databases like Manupatra, Lexis Nexis, etc.

  • Library

    The college has provided a spacious and fully equipped library with requisite facilities and modern technology. The library has relevant textbooks and journals from the best publications in the world. It also shelves law reports with back volumes of 10 years.   • Boys Hostel

    The college has hostels are highly secure and well-guarded. Only VITians and VIT-authorized personnel are allowed inside. We aspire to make the hostel a ‘home away from home. Each hostel room is equipped with a cot, chair, study table, and cupboard. Resident wardens are available 24×7.
