The School of Law which is teaching Law in Mahindra University is located in Hyderabad, India and is relatively new institution as its establishment was in 2021. The constituent college of Mahindra University is at Bahadurpally, Jeedimetla, Hyderabad and has made a name for itself within a short span to offer quality legal education. It is a BCI approved institute that provides three exclusive courses of law to the intending legal personalities. The School of Law has only three members of the faculty, and it is committed to ensuring every student receives individual attention and empowering them academically while applying what they learn.
Facilities developed at the School of Law include the following, which in serve students’ interest in enhancing their learning experience. School of Law also has well equipped library for its students especially in the area of legal education. If students or professors need a time between the classes, there must be a cafeteria where they can take a rest and eat. The institute has an elaborate auditorium to support several events and seminars including invitees and renown lawyers to create awareness to our students beyond classroom learning. To ensure that students are well equipped to handle the course work in this digitised world the School of Law has put in place well enhanced information technology facilities. To support a comprehensive development model, there are sports facilities to ensure that people exercise besides having to study. The college also aims at student health with a medical center complete with first aid services to cater for student needs.
The School of Law has a limited number of three full-time law courses which the faculty intends to prepare legal professionals. These programmes are, the five year integrated Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and the three year programme of Bachelor of Laws (Hons). teaching of courses, the institute has an approved annual intake capacity of 60 students for both the BA LLB (Hons) and the BBA LLB (Hons) programmes respectively, because the institute considers it important that the student to faculty ratio is controlled. It remains unclear as to what total number of students is allowed to enroll for all these courses, but the numbers chosen indicate that the university practices strict rationing in order to offer quality education.
