SCET Surat Facilities
The SCET Surat campus has all the essential facilities for its students. SCET Surat facilities include a library. It contains a huge collection of books, textbooks, references and journals. SCET Surat provides adequate facilities for hostels for boys and girls separately. In the hostel, there are all the necessary facilities for the students. SCET Surat facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls, a library, sports facilities, an auditorium, seminar halls, and IT infrastructure. SCET Surat has a big playground where students can play games like volleyball, badminton, basketball, chess, and table tennis.
In the college, there is a canteen facility for the students and staff that serves hygienic, nutritious food at a reasonable cost. Some other SCET facilities available on the college premises are sports equipment, cafeteria, internet facility, convenience store, departmental-based laboratories, medical facility, gym, webmail facility, elevator, common rooms for boys and girls and many more. The college has an open-air theatre that is used for various functions and events.

- Boys Hostel
SCET Surat facilities and infrastructure include well-equipped hostels for boys. In the boys’ hostel, there are several facilities for the boys. The boys’ hostel facilities include well-maintained rooms with chairs, tables, cupboards and beds. There is a mess facility inside the hostel and the boys’ hostel also has indoor sports equipment like table tennis etc. Female visitors are not permitted to visit the boys’ hostel without prior permission of the boys’ hostel warden. Without the approval of the boys’ hostel warden, students can not leave the hostel during the night between 9:00 pm to 7:00 am. All boys’ hostel students are totally responsible for their personal belongings, including their bicycles, mopeds, and scooters.
- Girls Hostel
The college has separate girls hostels on the campus premises. SCET Surat girls’ hostel is equipped will various facilities such as well-furnished rooms that include study tables, chairs, beds and cupboards. The girls’ hostel has a canteen facility for the students in the hostel and it also has indoor sports facilities for girls. Male visitors are prohibited to visit the girls’ hostel without the prior permission of the girls’ hostel warden. All girls’ hostel students will be solely responsible for all their belonging including their cycle/moped/scooter etc.

SCET Surat infrastructural facilities include a library. The library is well equipped with a large collection of books for all disciplines, back volumes and the latest journals. The college library operates on an open-access basis, with numerous books, national/international periodicals, print journals, and reputable magazines. SCET Surat library subscribes to research journals in both electronic and print formats. The library has electronic journals from reputable online scientific sources such as the American Chemical Society, ASCE, IEEE, Science-Direct, J Gate, McGraw-Hill, and Springer Link. Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Civil Engineering, Textile Technology, Architecture, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Humanities, and Social Sciences are just a few of the subjects covered in the library. Reference books, textbooks, and CDs are among the items in the collection. All in-house operations in the library are fully computerized using the SOUL software package that also provides web-based access to the online catalogue of the library.

On the campus premises, there are several sports facilities for the students. The college has various sports facility that includes games like volleyball, badminton, basketball, chess and table tennis. Gymkhana department of the college operates with the same vigour, instilling in students an ever-challenging enthusiasm to set a standard in the many competitions held at the inter-collegiate and inter-university levels. The department has full-fledged indoor and outdoor game facilities. Within the campus, there is a large field where volleyball, football, and cricket can be played. SCET students compete in numerous sports contests at all levels around the country. SCET has won numerous sports competitions at the inter-engineering, inter-collegiate, and inter-university levels. SCET has made a name for itself on a number of intercollegiate levels.
