Verified ReviewGood companies come but the main challenge is that the intake is very less in big brands. However most people do get placed even if it's not in a top tier firm. Also, due to multiple schools being managed by a single placement committee it's some times difficult to compete. Moreover, the placement rules are such that one needs to apply smartly to get the company and domain that they want. However, having said that, if one is getting an opportunity and plans on working post college, they should definitely sit for placements and prepare for the interviews, and also do certifications relevant to the field that they want to be in. Don't shy away from applying, even if it's an opportunity for a summer internship, you never know what might lead to what. So prepare well, trust yourself, and just go ahead and give your best.

The answer to you question if you ask in simple words is NO. You can not take transfer in second year from one university to another, you will have to reappear for admission test and procedures and start all again if from first year if you really want
