The College students are admitted to the College from all parts of the country. The institute provides hostel accommodation to the students. There are three hostels in this institute. Two for boys. The hostels are in proper shape and provide various basic facilities to the students. Each hostel has got its mess. The College health center is staffed by a medical officer and healthcare assistants to provide excellent medical care to all the students, staff, and faculty. The Medical Officer manages the various aspects of the facility. They provide quality health care to everyone, evaluate the quality of services, maintain the overall efficiency of the center, and decide the procedures to be followed in case of an emergency.

The Institute library was set up in 2002 and has a floor area of 400 square meters. The library has a seating capacity of 50 readers in reading halls. Library follows the open access system, it facilitates the users to browse and pick up the documents of their choice without any hindrance. By making accessible a rich collection of print and non-print, primary and secondary material in various disciplines, the Libraries support the academic as well as research needs of students and hundreds of teachers of the Institutes.

College Sports play is vital for shaping the personality and fitness of a person and to give a global experience to all the students. An on-campus sports environment matching global standards is provided to all the students at PGC. Since its establishment, the PGC Sports Department has played a vital role in students' life by reshaping their personalities and add values like Teamwork and a positive attitude. Being a completely residential campus, it is important that there is a wide variety of sports facilities to keep students engaged and physically fit. The department is continuously expanding to provide support to every individual to pursue the sport of his/her choice. To develop the all-around personality of the students, the PGC emphasizes equally on sports. It is the constant Endeavor of the college to see that the students grow intellectually as well as physically. The Physical Education Department of the College regularly organizes Inter-Collegiate competitions in various sports events and Inter College Tournaments in games. The students are encouraged to take part in indoor & outdoor games and sports as the games constitute an integral part of education. Besides providing physical and mental discipline, they inculcate in students the noble qualities of team spirit, discipline, sportsmanship, and self-confidence. A large playground on the campus is well-equipped for cricket, hockey, football, basketball, and other games. The motive is to maximize access, development, and excellence at all levels of participation in sports to improve social cohesion, nation-building, and quality of life.

The college has a state-of-the-art IT Infrastructure and Fibre Optic Network across the Campus. The Campus has IT Infrastructure that can support more than 1200 Computer Systems and is completely Wi-Fi enabled. It is one of the most hi-tech Campuses in North India.

The College's objective of the Canteen and meal service is to provide quality food so that the students and staff can be protected by reducing the risk of foodborne illness, with proper sanitary conditions, and preventing adulterated food. A variety of food cuisines are available for the students keeping both their health and taste in mind such as North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, etc.

The College Bus service operates on a self-financed, no profit – no loss basis on all working days, at fixed timings. The central points are determined by the transport committee.

College Alumni are an important constituent of an institution of higher learning. Hundreds of proud alumni from PGC play a central role in almost every sphere of life in India and abroad. Very large numbers of alumni of PGC have distinguished themselves at various levels- academics, civil services, corporate services, research, sports, business, etc. It is a matter of pride and honor for PGC to have such eminent alumni. They all carry with them a very special and unique experience.

The college is a Wi-Fi Enabled campus supported by technology from RUCKUS, USA.11 Mbps bandwidth for the Internet with the dedicated leased line.

The College laboratories are well equipped with all modern equipment to cater to the needs of UG students as well as R&D and consultancy works. Testing facilities related to Civil Engineering are provided in the laboratories to fulfill the needs of industries.

The College offers elaborate banking services within the campus premises. There is one fully functional branch of Indian Overseas Bank in the college that offers all types of banking services to staff and students. It functions for 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday. Student fees and other payments are remitted through this on-campus bank branch. Apart from regular banking services available to the students and the employees of the College through Indian Overseas Bank, students and staff can use an ATM facility to facilitate access to bank accounts for cash withdrawals. There are 2 different ATMs available provided by different banks to help the students and the staff use their accounts Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) & Punjab National Bank (PNB). This facility can be availed by the students and staff of the college. On enrolment, every student can open an account with the bank and can make full use of banking services, Internet Banking, and ATM facilities.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
