About PIMSE Pune

Situated at the heart of Pune, Maharashtra, Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE), Pune was established in 1990 as an affiliated college. Shaping management professionals for more than three decades is the legacy of PIMSE that All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approves. The campus is built over a compact space of 1 acre, therefore providing a niche learning environment. A strength of 22 members of faculty is an enrolment of 378 students, hence giving an ideal student-teacher ratio and creating an enabling learning environment. 

Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship (PIMSE), Pune is affiliated college with the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. PIMSE has all modern facilities in support of its academic mission. The library acts as a full-fledged resource center with a vast management and computer science library augmented with periodicals and journals to update students with current industry trends. The institute’s infrastructure in terms of IT is also of a high order with a fully air-conditioned computer laboratory consisting of 230 latest computers, fully loaded with licensed software and available for access at all times. PIMSE has a spacious conference room and two seminar halls, all fitted with modern audiovisual aids, for the purpose of interactive learning. 

There are three full-time MBA programs running under the institute, each two years long. MBA, MBA Information Technology, and MBA in Human Resource Development. The total intake approved for all the courses combined is of 240, with MBA in general having the highest capacity of 120 seats and both the specialised courses having 60 seats each.

In addition to this, it has a good collection of the book based on managerial skills and motivation. To abreast the user of the library with current information in their field of study, the library also has a subscription to a number of periodicals and journals.     The computer laboratory is fully air-conditioned and is well equipped with two hundred and thirty computers with the latest configuration and LAN facility. Strong UPS backup for all the machines so that the students can work without any disruption. All the machines have licensed software installed in them. The computer lab is accessible to students in the department round the clock, throughout .
