NDRK Institute of Technology, Hassan, was started in the year 2009 and is an affiliated college situated in Thimmanahalli Industrial Area, Hassan District of Karnataka, India. It is one of the AICTE approved college which has a large variety of engineering courses in many fields. Occupying a vast area of 12 acres of land, NDRKIT offers education to 455 learners staffed by 44 dedicated members of staff. With regards to the status of undergraduate programs offered by the institute, six of them are undergraduate Engineering programs, which are all full time Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Degrees. The institute is endowed with a host of contingencies that are intended to enrich the learning process of students. One of the most important components of the NDRKIT’s academic offering is its large and well-stocked library on the fourth floor of the main building. Departments also have large stocks of books containing over 14,000 volumes on science and technology; It will be capable of seating 250 students at a time in the reference section and reading hall.
The college also gives emphasis on skillfulness as it provides efficiently designed laboratories for its respective departments. For the purpose of development NDRKIT has provided sports facilities for students and staff, conference hall for events seminer and cafeteria for students and staff. The institute also provides proper accommodation to out of station students by providing separate hostels for boys and girls. Also, NDRKIT offers transport service in providing means of transport to enhance commuter’s convenience for both students and staff.
There are in total six full time on campus BE programs offered at NDRK Institute of Technology. These courses have sections of Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, computer science engineering and the interdisciplinary fields of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. All programmes are four year fulltime courses. The institute currently has a total of 455 student intake over all its programs with the BE in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science programs having a total of 60 intake.
