MV Media Institute was founded in 2010 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and is a specialised institute in the field of Media. Located in Lucknow, Gomti Nagar, this co-educational institute has a good reputation mainly in the Media Science and Management education stream. These programmes are offered at 4 levels of degrees, 5 courses that cater to fields of Journalism, Mass Communication, Business Administration and Fashion Technology Management.

As for the admission policies, MV Media Institute is based on the programmes being taken. In cases of undergraduate courses such as BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, the students are usually selected via interview. The courses offered in MBA together with other postgraduate programmes have a more elaborate admission requirement. Candidates need to write an entrance examination after which they conduct a group discussion and a personal interview. The institute accepts the scores of many national-level entrance examinations like CAT and XAT.
