MICA, Ahmedabad provides scholarships to deserving, meritorious and needy students. Scholarships at MICA Ahmedabad help to reduce the burden of high education costs that students and their parents have to bear. MICA scholarships are awarded annually based on the student’s overall academic performance and family income. MICA scholarships benefit students of the 2-year programmes, viz. the PGDM Communications and PGDM and the 1-year Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Crafting Creative Communications. The process of evaluating and awarding the MICA Ahmedabad scholarships is detailed and rigorous.
The maximum number of scholarships to be awarded will be between 25 and 27 (to PGP-1, PGP-2, and CCC) in a year. The scholarships at MICA Ahmedabad would be awarded to students of PGP-1 (between 11 to 13) and PGP-2 (up to 12). The scholarship amount would be in the range of 25% to 100% of the tuition fees per student in the programme. Apart from this, 1 or 2 students of PGP-1 will stand to receive sponsorship of up to Rs. 5 Lakhs from Prof. Bikram Bindra, MICA’s Adjunct Faculty. These scholarships given by Prof. Bindra will be known as the “Equity Scholarship” and will apply to those students from PGP-1 who represent a minority status based on religion, ability, sexual or gender identity.

Hostel rooms are spacious. I haven’t faced any issue with infra yet but college is surely making an attempt to improve it every day.The quality of infrastructure here is excellent. The library is open 24*7 and has a wide variety of books. The mess food is good. MiCA is a sports lover’s paradise. Name a sport, and it’s played here, starting from Tennis to football to basketball to chess, to name just a few.

MICAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT). It is conducted twice a year – December (2025) and February (2026). Candidates may choose to write both MICAT I & II. Better of the two MICAT Scores is considered. It has over 48 test centres across the country.

Admission to MICA happens through a 3-stage filtering process comprising of – CAT/XAT/GMAT performance, Performance in MICAT written exam and performance in Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) Detailed below are the steps for preparation of the Final Merit List: Step 1: Section A (Psychometric test) is first checked. This section is a qualifier. Step2: Those who qualify through section A, their relative performance on CAT/XAT/GMAT is considered. A minimum cut-off in CAT /XAT total percentile/GMAT score shall be considered (Best of the three scores is considered.) Step 3: Those who qualify based on the CAT/XAT/GMAT performance, their Section C (all sub-sections) of MICAT will be assessed.
Step 4: Candidates who appear in GE & PI MUST be RECOMMENDED by majority number of the interview panellists, to be considered for the final merit list NOTE: All those who meet the criteria described above, their final composite score shall be created based on the following weightage:

To be eligible for Crafting Creativity Communications Advanced programme admission at MICA Ahmedabad, students must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline along with a qualifying score in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ MICAT exams.
MCIA Ahmedabad PGDM admission process involves filling out an application form online, paying the application fee and uploading necessary documents. MICA’s Post Graduate Programme (PGDM / PGDM-C) has a predominant focus on Strategic Marketing and Communications. Our curriculum is designed to integrate conceptual rigour and industry relevance. The key focal points of our curriculum are an interdisciplinary perspective and holistic approach and it aims at being disruptive and challenging the status quo.
The entrance exam scores of CAT, XAT and GMAT are accepted for the MICA Ahmedabad PGDM admission process. Students who have not appeared in any of the entrance exams can appear for MICAT exam.

Student-teacher ratio is around 50:1. Industry exposure is a must. And the course curriculum is really useful.The course curriculum is updated every year taking into account the changes in the market. The course is relevant to the industry and job market and well appreciated by experts. A lot of case studies are solved in the class. The faculty are knowledgeable and resourceful.

In this college the main thing which is amazing is and good classes.some faculty are some are average, some are amazing, and a very few are poor. Since most of them are from the industry, they teach concepts that are quite relevant to the industry. Most lectures are taken using presentations, case studies, and flipped classrooms. Some subjects are extremely challenging.

It was very efficient and useful.Summer placements for our batch was successful. All the students were placed. Average package was Rs. 81,090 for two months, median was 70,000 and the highest was 320000. A wide variety of companies came for recruitments, from sectors like FMCG, Advertising, Media and Banking, to name just a few among many.

College Infrastructure
Hostel rooms are spacious. I haven't faced any issue with infra yet but college is surely making an attempt to improve it every day.The quality of infrastructure here is excellent. The library is open 24*7 and has a wide variety of books. The mess food is good. MiCA is a sports lover's paradise. Name a sport, and it's played here, starting from Tennis to football to basketball to chess, to name just a few.

Hostels are meant to keep the students close to NIT, and you will value the way they were built if you spend some days there. The mess is the best one that you'd find in any college. Even a doctor visits the campus daily. The library is a blessing for students, and it is equipped with all the books that a student needs. The college is strong with its sports culture, and there are dedicated courts for volleyball, frisbee, football, lawn tennis, table tennis, basketball, and cricket, etc.
