MGM College of Engineering and Technology, Ernakulam, was set up in 2011. The location of the college is in the beautiful town of Pampakuda, Muvattupuzha. This affiliated college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is located on a wide campus area of 8.68 acres. MGM College has 103 faculty members and a total intake capacity of 496 students and engineering branch. Across 2 degrees, the institution offers 17 courses, which include cyber security, artificial intelligence, machine learning and other mainstream engineering courses.

Accompanied by the list of young professionals, the college has a great variety of facilities that equipped the learning process. The central library consists of 10,000 textbooks and 100 journals, as well as a digital library & e-journals including ASTM, J-GATE, IEEE, etc. Modern laboratories housing high-standard physical and analytical instruments and instrumental analysis systems prepare this and all other departments for practical training. It offer a modern 10 Mbps Internet-connected computer centre to support its learning culture that is IT-driven. Accommodation facilities include, separately for female and male students, hostels with computer and games sections. The college also has well-developed and well-equipped athletic facilities, such as 400-meter athletic track, to ensure that students’ health is exercised and maintained while they study.
MGM College of Engineering and Technology follows a good line of offering a wide range of engineering studies that may be of anyone’s interest in choosing their career field. Currently, the institution offers 6 full-time B.Tech branches and 3 M.Tech branches, where all the B.Tech branches and the M.Tech branches have been developed to incorporate the dynamic nature of the advancement in the engineering industry. Having an approved intake capacity of 496 students across all the courses offered, the college offers a niche market of more focused learning. The B.Tech programmes include civil engineering, mechanical engineering, cyber security, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, each of which has an intake of 60 students. The Electronics and Communication Engineering as well as the Electrical and Electronics Engineering have a total of 30 seats for the course offer. At the postgraduate level, the college offers specialised M.Tech programmes in Industrial Instrumentation and Control and, Structural Engineering and Construction Management for 12 and 24 students, respectively.

The college offers admissions only through the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM) so as to offer level playing ground to the candidates.
