Academics

Academics side its total worth .very much skilled teacher also they are totally willing to help students in there doubts .Even they provide additional classes to help us .they provide with all necessary study materials and labs .

College Infra

Collage academic side its great teachers teaching very well but the freedom at the collage is slightly rrestricted development in every side like upgraded the canteen great food also added new wending machine in 2 different blocks and great verity of foods available

Campus Life

Campus life is slightly restriction side because we can't bunk the classes .for every simple problems the teachers are calling parent to collage for simple reasons. I prefer a collage with not this things

Placements

Placement side i am not that familiar but with my knowledge i think its very good lots of industrial Placement are there and many opertunity are there at MEC . So the Placement side is very good according to me

Value For Money

Yes according to me the best quality study material and effort putting teachers quality education best Placement best labs ready to teach any way teachers are a total worth . So according to me its total worth for those who look for study

Academics

Quality of teaching is average. Everyone survives with a ppt. Syllabus is outdated. Faculties have unpleasant behaviour. No significant developments happen here. Very rude staff and Hod. Very conservative college

College Infra

good infrastructure but outdated equipments. No activity clubs whatsoever. Hostel facilities are below average. Wifi is not useful.Food is okay. Very well kept surroundings and nature but department blocks outdated and library is average

Campus Life

No activities the students can engage in, they only promote studies.

Placements

okay placements.Faculties promote skill development for placements but do nothing to help for it other. Ive heard placements are low and placement processes is hard to get through. Salary packages are okay and good

Academics

Like all the institutions in the country or the world for that matter, there are good and bad professors. Curriculum is as per the University of Kerala which is descent and covers almost all the topics required.

College Infra

Good experience overall. Have all the necessary equipment as per the syllabus. Descent food is available in the cafeteria. Different building are available for different departments which is a good thing.

Campus Life

Marian Engineering College should ideally be named as Marian School of Engineering. It has a school kind of environment where uniform is mandatory and some of the professors were more interested in creating issues than teaching.

Placements

There was no placement assistance in 2013 which is the year I graduated. That was a really frustrating experience for all the students and since I come from Mechanical Engineering background and Kerala not having much opportunities for the same, the struggle got real.

Value For Money

The fee structure was INR fifty thousand per annum which was not too bad comparing it to the present day where education is a money minting business. Lack of placement assistance did make things worse.
