In terms of an information centre, the institute boasts of a library that boasts of an assortment of computer related books and publications in form of magazines and journals among others. It became evident that students can get information from various sources such as project reports, seminar papers, and even subject based question papers. This is supported by well-equipped computer laboratories with more than sixty-five nodes, which support both Windows 7 and Linux- Ubuntu operating systems. These labs are supported by other contemporary equipments like ; LCD projectors, Printers, and Scanners; besides other learning resources which a student may require in his or her academic process. The campus boasts a fast 4MBPS internet connection and Wi-Fi connection throughout the college to facilitate computerised facilities and fast access to digital sources.
The institute offers two full-time MCA programmes: a normal three years MCA course and a MCA lateral entry for two-year course. Managed input capacities for each programme are approved for 60 students each, which means that there are many openings for IT students.
The procedure for entering MBIT is rather simple, and we admit only qualified students. The students who wish to apply for the admission in either of the MCA programmes have to take the Government of Kerala MCA Entrance Examination. The vision is to provide adequate infrastructure facilities for sports and games so that students choose and participate in the events for which they have flair and to spot and groom the sports talent. It also helps to imbibe in the student's discipline, leadership qualities, courage, and the sense of belonging through sports activities and also train the students to receive success and defeat equanimously. Sports inculcate the spirit of harmony, brotherhood, and togetherness across various sections of people regardless of boundaries. The Boys and Girls who join this College are selected for the different Outdoor and Indoor games based on their earlier exposure. In MBIT, sports programs are conducted by the student’s association. colleges are conducting different types of indoor and outdoor games in The institution. The outdoor games include badminton, basketball, etc, and also include some indoor competitions like chess, caroms, etc. The new players for the various sports and games are picked up by the interest evidenced by them in sports activities. The selected students are given rigorous training and coaching by the Physical Education department apart from a few theory classes to enlighten them about the rules of the games.

The laboratory consists of more than 65 nodes connected in a lab with advanced servers under windows7, Linux-Ubuntu environments. MCA department is having a computing facility with the latest Hardware and Software Configurations. the Institution thoroughly follows the AICTE regarding computing resources (both hardware and software) to be made available to students. The MCA department has established a networked laboratory. The lab has facilities for learning and enhancing skills in all the necessary programming languages like C/C++, Oracle, OS (UNIX), Java, etc.
