Affiliated college Mangalore Marine College and Technology (MMCT) was established in 2012 located at Mangalore in Karnataka. AICTE recognised institution offering three courses in engineering discipline forming its key area of operation. MMCT located in a small area of 1 acres is an institution which is dedicated to deliver good technical education. The college has adequate faculty members as it has 26 members out of which student ratios are easily managed. With the thrust area in marine engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science engineering, MMCT offers a plethora of engineering dreams.
Mangalore Marine College and Technology provides numerous amenities as below in order to ensure a comfortable stay of students. The college offers accommodation facilities separately for boys and girls which facilitate staying of students from other towns. A rich equipped library plays the role of abacus of all knowledge procured in form of books, journals, periodicals, CDs, etc. In as much as regard to physical fitness of the students, there is a gym for the students within the campus. The college has vested importance in health and this is supported by a medical room and readily available medical officers. Students can play different indoor and outdoor games, tennis, basket ball, cricket, foot ball etc with in the college playground which is very vast. The IT facilities are well developed that includes multiple computerised labs with Internet connection. A cafeteria provides different, clean foodstuffs for eating; an auditorium with up to date facilities provides various functions. It also facilitates transport facilities to avail transport to students and staff who come from various regions of Mangalore.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to MMCT engineering programs include completing the 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. For Government Quota Seats:
- Appear for KCET or COMEDK UGET.
- Register for counseling with Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for KCET or with COMEDK for COMEDK UGET.
- Attend counseling based on merit list.
- If the seat is allotted in MMCT, follow admission formalities as directed by them.
For Management Quota and Vacant Seats:
1. Post-KCET and COMEDK-UGET counseling, apply directly to MMCT.
2. Undergo the selection process of the college comprising:
- Aptitude Test
- IQ Test
- Reasoning Test
- Psychometric Test
3. Performance in these tests will be followed by a personal interview conducted by MMCT.
4. Final selection will depend on the performance of the candidate in the tests and interview as decided by MMCT.

B.E. Marine Engineering: There are 120 seats available to complete BE Marine Engineering course. It is based on KCET or COMEDK UGET ranks. The college further organizes its admission process of Aptitude, IQ, Reasoning, and Psychometric tests before an interview for the management quota and unfilled seats.
B.E. Mechanical Engineering: 45-steat intake for BE mechanical engineering program by the college. Admission procedure in the same lines of that of Marine Engineering as candidates clearing from KCET or COMEDK UGET for Government quota seats. For vacant seats and management quota, MMCT conducts its own selection process.
B.E. Computer Science and Engineering: The course has 60 seats for students pursuing BE in Computer Science and Engineering. The admission process for this course is similar to that of other engineering programs, as KCET or COMEDK UGET scores will also apply to seats for government quota, while the other selection process will be conducted for management quota and vacant seats.

The collage infrastructure is quite good and having pretty simple and safe environment spacing everysort of block and department are present and keeping in brain the washroom facilities are good and great infrastructure.

The College provides facilities for athletic events. Indoor and outdoor games like Table Tennis, Badminton, Carom, Chess, Basket Ball, Cricket, football, etc. are made available for the students. A playground with vast areas available for students to play various games such as cricket, volleyball, football, basketball. The training is provided by a qualified sports instructor.

The college have full-fledged separate computer labs as per the university syllabus. Apart from those centres, we have additional Labs for the internet, CAD/CAM. The computer workstations have about 100 systems. Servers have been arranged so that Internet connection is distributed to all workstations.
- Cafeteria
The college Canteen has Wholesome, hygienic, and tasty food at reasonable prices. It provides a wide variety of delicacies to cater to the tastes of each individual. There are separate sections for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. At a time, nearly 300 students can be accommodated there.

The College Auditorium All facilities including computer terminals, LCD projectors, are provided to conference and seminar halls.
