LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram the birthplace of technological advancement in Kerala was established in the year 1976 is a self financing institution run by the government of Kerala affiliated to Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala. This celebrated center is based at the cultural capital of Kerala and is particularly famous for computer application courses. 

There are three full-time programs in the institute namely, A post Graduate Diploma and two Diploma courses to further produce students specialized in a fast-growing academic area/information technology. The exact number of students and faculty is not known but LBS Centre is exclusively geared towards preparation of practical computer applications and computer hardware maintenance courses.

The institute provides three full-time programs: The Majors are Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA), Integrated Diploma in Computer Hardware Maintenance and Networking, and Diploma in Computer Applications.
