Laluk College, Lakhimpur

The Laluk College, Lakhimpur, was institutionalized in the year 1985 and the institute is co-educational by nature and comprises affiliated status. It offers undergraduate programs in various arts subjects, with a campus area coverage of 17.19 acres. This institution has got accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council; with the sanctioned total enrolment of students being 486, it has faculty strength of 34.

The campus is replete with a host of facilities for an enriched experience of learning. Most of these amenities are the library stock of resources, which includes 7,002 books, 6 journals, and newspapers. The Institute also subscribes to membership for e-journals and e-resources with N-LIST, INFLIBNET. Laluk College offers a total of 10 courses, all full-time in nature. It mainly offers degree programs at the level of BA with different majors. The commitment of this college towards quality education in the arts can invariably be determined from the courses provided. The important areas covered by the BA programme are Humanities and Social Sciences, political science and sociology, history, education,  Assamese, philosophy, English, and economics. In addition, it offers a Diploma in Computer Applications that equips the students with hands-on skills in Information Technology.
