Both the hostels are unique in the district so far as rules, regulations, and discipline of the hostels of various educational institutions are concerned. From its very inception, the hostels bear a cosmopolitan culture, which helps the borders to develop the spirit of brotherhood and national integration. "PRAYER MEET" in the evening in both the hostels is a unique feature that highly helps the borders to concentrate their minds to devote to learning. Only students from outside Lakhimpur town may apply for hostel admission in the separate forms attached to the prospectus. Hostel seats are allotted purely on merit. The Hostel admission list will be displayed after college admissions are completed. Selected students should report to the Warden along with admission receipts. Old borders must take Hostel admission on the day of admission, failing which their seats may stand forfeited.

The college library is an essential prerequisite for the successful implementation of quality higher education programs and is the epicenter of a college. The central library of the college is one of the best college libraries in the Lakhimpur district in providing efficient service to the readers. It is a place of great attraction to all. The library is equipped with a very user-friendly and supportive staff. The library of the College was founded at the time of the inception of the college. Initially, it was a spacious single room in the old Assam-type college building. In the year 2005, the library was shifted to the RCC office building constructed under the Buniyad Scheme, Govt. of Assam. During that period, the library accommodated about 13000 books. During the last ten years, the numbers of books in the library have been increasing with the growing numbers of users. At present, the library is shifted to the top floor of the newly constructed RCC building under the UGC Development Fund and renamed as "Central Library cum Museum".
