Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science (KKCAS) is an autonomous college that was started in the year 1996 and situated at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Situated on a campus size of 10 acres, KKCAS enjoys 21 courses under 9 degrees to its 768 enrolments. NAAC recognises the college; it is a co-educational college with 45 teaching faculty members. KKCAS has a 1:1 gender distribution, with 322 males and 337 females studying both undergraduate (93%) and postgraduate (7%) education. KKCAS offers a wide array of services for improving students’ stay at the university. This has Gender 102 boys hostel (1270 650) with inside games, a first-year 102 boy’s hostel. 12702 Girls-Hostel 102750 Students Audio visual reading room. Auditorium 1300 With Noise Reducing Facility. A well-equipped library is essential for academic tasks and personality enhancement plans. Additionally, the college boasts of infrastructure with a first aid medical facility and an ambulance service for round-the-clock service, besides a fully equipped gymnasium. Besides, there are various games facilities such as ball badminton, volley ball, basketball, kabaddi, kho-kho, etc. The infrastructure includes 306 computers, located in four laboratories, managed by our experienced system engineers. Other facilities available are canteen, transport, ATM within the compound, car parking, internet, and a shop.
The institute has developed a richness of courses to offer students and these consist of 21 courses in total from different faculties.

Our college library was fully automated with the software named “College Management System”(CMS).

The college has also a good infrastructure for sports and games which includes courts for badminton, volleyball, and basketball, facilities for games like Kabbadi, Kho–Kho, etc., and a multi-gym for physical fitness.

The KKCAS has four computer laboratories. All the laboratories are equipped with adequate and latest systems, languages laboratories, and laboratories with NPTEL facilities. The laboratories are designed with safety features embedded in the infrastructure and create an excellent ambiance and atmosphere for learning. The lab has a total of 250 computers connected to the network. Internet facility is available for all the systems in the lab with 50 Mbps bandwidth.
