Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering was established in the year 1994, in Karjat. Located in a lush green area at Karjat, a town in Maharashtra, this affiliated college sprawls over 19.32 acres. This college has many facilities to enrich the learning experience of students and for the development of the college students. The library is the hub of academic resources. It covers an area of 813.72 square meters with more than 32,000 books, various national and international journals, a digital library with 17 nodes, and a well-maintained reading hall with an intake capacity of 150 students. It has separate hostels for boys and girls with an intake capacity of 60 students each for those staying on the campus. The hostels provide a clean, hygienic, and comfortable living environment. It provides a gym and sports facilities to support physical fitness and recreation. The institute has an auditorium on campus for conducting academic and extracurricular events.
KGCE Karjat offers six full-time B.Tech courses, each of four years. All in all, this makes up programs in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. These courses have a total sanctioned intake of 360 students per year, and most programs are available with an intake of 60 each. The college has a good infrastructure and the facilities are also available like wifi and projectors and the canteen is very hygenic.There is lawn also available to take a nap if the students feel heavy.

Students opting to stay in the hosteL have to book their room at the earliest, as the allotment is on a first-come basis. In the Central Library. we have different sections like book stacking. periodicals. references. digital Library with 17 nodes & a well-ventilated reading hall with a capacity of 150’ students. All the books in the Library have been classified as per the Dewey decimal classification system. Transaction of books has been done by the computerized system through SOUL 2.o software. Library & reading hall timing is 8.30 am to 5.oo pm. KGCE Central Library has collections of more than 32ooo books and subscribed National & International Journal along with several online journals. The Library has Institutional membership of I.IT.Mumbai. this helps the students to get hands other n the latest resources.

The college has sports facilities for all students.
- I.T Infrastructure
It has got 35 desktop machines and DeL. Server Machine with 35 Fusion Multimedia cLients Laser Printers Scanners and Web cameras. Alt the computers are well connected to the Intranet and internet with the help of Ethernet Backbone Switches The Facility is powered with three 6 KVA UPS.
- Cafeteria
The College Spacious and well-equipped canteen facility are available at the KGCE campus. A complete and planned meal is served neat. clean and hygienic surroundings. Apart from the north and south Indian nutritious breakfast. lunch and dinner. Tea. coffee and soft drinks along with snacks are also available ALL the items are reasonably priced.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
- Transport Facility
Transport for daily commuting is generally one of the worries of parents. To enable students to free themselves from the worries of transportation. we have made arrangements for College buses for students as well as staff College is running bus services from different locations so that students hailing from any location within Mumbai will have a nearby pickup gumdrop back point to board the college bus to come to college and to go back home. This will make them free from the mental tension of driving or taking public transport system. to come to the college and go back so that they fully concentrate on their studies. Parents also can have peace of mind while their wards are out in the college and need not worry about the traffic and driving problem.
