The college is proud of the best facilities that it has put in place to meet the physical as well as psychosocial needs of the students. Apart from the library which is a 1000 sq. ft of information center, science and engineering has over 4000 volumes and 1200 titles. It also subscribes of many magazines and newspapers making information readily available to the students. We have over one hundred computers in our IT facilities, and students equip themselves with all the digital competencies needed in the modern world. For those who live in the college as they study the college provides different hostels for boys and girls separately. The rental premises of these hostels are comfortable and equipped with necessary amenities like hot water, TV room and indoor sports as well as encourages fellow feeling among the tenants.
Of the programmes offered at JV Mandal’s Polytechnic College, there are four full-time diplomas programmes each of which takes three years. These courses include Diploma in civil engineering, Diploma in Electronics and communication engineering, Diploma in Electrical and Electronics engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
