The institute has a number of facilities which add to the learning experience of the students. There is a library measuring an area of 2500 sq. It houses more than 6,250 books on education, including text-books, encyclopedias, and reference books. Educational journals, periodicals, and newspapers are subscribed on behalf of the department. It thus rendering colossal service to the would-be teachers. It has the seating capacity of 150 students at one time. The library is spacious enough for study and research. The college has two well-equipped state-of-the-art laboratories: the Psychology Lab and the Education Technology Lab. These laboratories play an important role in integrating theoretical knowledge with practical studies to help students cope with the modern challenges in teaching. The Psychology Laboratory helps students understand different aspects of child development skills, whereas the Education Technology Laboratory acquaints students with new teaching methodologies and equipment.

JR Kissan College of Education offers only one full-time course, namely B.Ed.     The College has a big library which is spread over an area of about 2500 sq. ft. More than 6250 books have been placed on open shelves and beautiful admirals. Apart from Textbooks, encyclopedias, reference books, and General Books on education are also kept in the Library. The library also subscribes to journals on education, magazines, and newspapers. A separate arrangement for their study has been made in the library. The library has a seating capacity of about 150 students at a time.

    The college has a To develop a wholesome teacher; theoretical knowledge needs to be blended with practical thinking and orientation. To deal with such practical aspects of teacher development, the college has made provision for adequate facilities in the various laboratories developed for this purpose. All the labs are well-ventilated with sufficient space, adequate furniture, and Black-Boards.

    Psychology Lab:- As future teachers, these students need to know the various ways to examine the aptitudes, mental level (I.Q), personality, achievement, and creativity of the children so that the teacher can know and understand them properly and provide guidance accordingly. The Psychological Tests and other testing equipment provided in this Laboratory will help our future teachers in this direction.

    Education Technology Lab:-  To acquaint the students with the use of the latest techniques in teaching, the Education Technology Lab has been developed. LCD Projector, Television set, DVD player, latest Slide Projector with remote control, Overhead Projector, slides and transparencies on various subjects, Black-Boards, and blank material for building transparencies and slides are acquired for this purpose. Besides, a separate section on mathematical tools and charts is also available in the lab to help the students understand complex mathematical problems.

    The College has a multipurpose hall to provide a platform for organizing various co-curricular activities like seminars, extension lectures, workshops, festival celebrations, and other cultural programs. The Inter-house competitions are also held regularly to enable students to get opportunities to exhibit their talent in various literary, cultural, and craft activities.
