Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Dental Sciences Imphal is one the newly established dental institute in the year 2017 at Porompat, Imphal-Manipur. This affiliated college recognized by Dental Council of India provides proper dental education at its small campus area of 5.67 acres. This institute has a faculty of 36 caring individuals all of who are committed towards offering quality education in dentistry. Currently, the institute only has one course, the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) which has an approved admission capacity of 50 students although normally on average the institute enrolls 120 students, this is due to the importance of creating a student to faculty ratio that will allow for adequate practical sessions.

The college is good in infrastructure with well established hospital and classrooms with pre clinical laboratories. Hostels are also good, separate Hostel for both boys and girls. Girls hostel is more beautiful with an elevator facility. The campus is good with library, cafeteria, playground, auditorium and Administrative block.
