Jagran Lakecity University has made sure that you have cherishing and fun filled years of your stay at the hostels and it becomes not your home away from home but a home as much as home. 

The university offers comprehensive hostel facilities for boys and girls separately within the campus and outside respectively. With dedicated hostel warden and faculty members staying on campus, the university student accommodation is a highly secure environment so that the students stay comfortably and focus on their academics and overall development.

JLU has a capacity to accommodate 400+ students which will be increased to 1000 by 2022. The Student Enrichment Hub at Chandanpura has a modern hostel, which has 3 blocks and 14 floors where students can avail single, double or triple occupancy, a/c and non a/c rooms as per their preference. The rooms are fully furnished, properly ventilated and adequately sunlit during the day. The off-campus accommodation of JLU offers double and triple occupancy rooms and can house 70+ students; bus service is available for travelling to and fro campuses. 

The life in hostels enables students to spend ample time in the university campus, utilize the library and other facilities to ensure they develop academically and acquire the necessary skills that can be obtained only through experience. On every floor of residential blocks, common rooms are available for the hostelites, equipped with Television sets, Sofas and small Pantry, where they can watch sports, movies, play board games or just recharge their social batteries by spending time leisurely.

The University has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

Our state-of-the-art Gymnasium has cardiovascular equipment including treadmills and elliptical. We also have dumbbells, z-rods, leg press, bench press and multiple weight training equipment. In addition to this, we have a free weights section as well as a stretching area for your essential cool-down or foam-rolling session. The gym tactically overlooks the clear blue swimming pool which entices an individual to exercise in this pristine environment.

The library is unarguably the most important academic facility of any university. Jagran Lakecity Universityy has gone far and beyond to make sure that its Library is one of a kind, not only in the country but in the whole world. The primary library at JLU Student Enrichment Hub, is a breathtaking iconic 90 feet tall PYRAMID, which is the only functional pyramid used for academic purpose in India. Spread in 28000 sq. ft. the structure houses 35000 books and has a subscription of 30+ monthly and annual journals and magazines. The Pyramid has a quiet reading area for 100 students and also gives access to vast reading resources online. The students and staff at JLU are provided access credentials to ‘McGraw Hill E-Books’ which additionally opens millions of books, journals, research papers, and much more. The Faculty of Law house a separate ‘Mini-Library’ in Block C, which has around 2000 hardcover books, and students of law, are provided access to thousands of legal resources online.

The Library at the main MungaliaChap Campus of JLU houses over 8000 books, magazines, and journals. It also has 25 computer systems that serve the purpose of an E-Library for the learners. The library is at Block A and has a subscription of 8 annual and monthly journals especially from the Engineering and Hospitality sector.

 JLU has two football fields, two basketball and volleyball courts each, a multipurpose ground is used to host cricket and athletic tournaments, a fully equipped Gymnasium and Recreation Center. The University is committed to developing sport within the University and across central India. Sport is the best activity to promote social interaction, inculcate teamwork, and spread fitness related awareness among young scholars.

The 13 academic blocks of Jagran Lakecity University are designed to give students a comprehensive learning experience. JLU has 125+ Classrooms, 50+ Labs, 4 auditoriums, 28000 sq. ft. Library and 8 conference halls/group discussion rooms. At full capacity, the academic infrastructure can accommodate up to 5000 learners at once. The 232-acre campus surrounded by sprawling greenery encapsulates the academic facilities and enhances the overall learning experience of youngsters. Teaching, Learning, and conducting research with the best and brightest students and members of faculty requires an academic infrastructure that measures up to international standards and JLU delivers exactly that.

Nutritious, balanced diet is very critical to learning, and hence at JLU Campuses, we make sure that there is always something healthy and delicious to suit every student's taste which is hygienic and freshly prepared. We are doing this as part of our mission to be student centric, and not just as a part of daily operations. Students have to make the best use of time and thus, eat on the go; our facilities accommodate these needs so that the students don’t need to compromise on their meals. 

•    Mess: 

The University’s dining hall through its modern kitchen and a seating capacity for 180 people is designed to cater students & staff with hygienically cooked, mouthwatering dishes. The hostilities indulge in nutritious food 4 times a day and the mess will not let you miss your home cooked meal. The best part about the mess at Jagran Lakecity University is that the student committee along with faculty members decides the menu for every semester. So, when students and administrators join hands to improve the food on campus, mess is no longer a monotonous place with boring food.

•    Food Court:

For the foodies, our campus has a lively eating space, called ‘APPETITE’. It has 5 food outlets where you can indulge yourself in the delightful cuisines from around the globe. Food is an opportunity for a university to define its culture and APPETITE is really that - a melting point for the entire university to come, sit together as one single community and enjoy the food.

But that’s not all, JLU regularly hosts food festivals and events that appeal to every palette and are amazing to socialize and make new friends. Food is nourishment for our bodies and a lot more than that, so we have facilitated the students to take the time to enjoy it.

Jagran Lakecity University has a student-centric approach at its core. Especially for a practice-based curriculum, the students need to showcase their art in front of a large audience. JLU has 4 ultra-modern auditoriums which fulfill this purpose. These gathering hubs are also a place for the JLU community to get together for events and host celebrities, speakers, and academicians from all around the world. TEDx JLU 2019 was conducted in the Block C auditorium at SEH Chandanpura, which has a seating capacity of 260 and a 3 feet tall stage, which is the largest on the campus. Apart from it, JLU has an auditorium hall in A Block which can host 110 attendees at once and a theater in Block E – Shri Gurudev Gupta Media Studios which can host 70 people for a memorable audiovisual experience. At the Mugalia Chhap Campus, Block C has a dedicated auditorium for a gathering of 100+ which is extensively used to host the events and functions of SOET & SOHT.

All the auditoriums at JLU is Wi-Fi enabled with a projector and a white screen for all practical purposes. These gathering halls are digitally accustomed to hold video conferences and webinars for all the attendees, with amazing acoustic experience.

The University campus has seamless Wi-Fi connectivity.

Jagran Lakecity Univeristy’s Student Enrichment Hub is situated at Chandanpura in a serene landscape surrounded by mesmerizing greenery and the Mungaliachap campus is a 20 minutes ride from the city. Also Bhopal is a compact and well planned city making it relatively easy to find your way around, whether you have your own vehicle or you are using one of our transport facilities.

Bus Service:

To facilitate the commute, Jagran Lakecity University has 15 CCTV enabled busses plying to and fro on 24 bus routes throughout the city, which are thoroughly sanitized twice daily, ensuring safe travel for its students. These busses have a lady guard to accompany the students and have all the necessary safety measures like Speed Governor, GPS Tracking and fulfill all other norms as per Government guidelines.

The buses are scheduled as per the student number concentration on a specific route. The schedule is flexible enough to accommodate any happenstance but also punctual so that the students don’t have to compromise on class timings. 

The hostellers, who want to explore the city, can hop on any of the busses going to separate routes thrice-weekly which also bring them back at a designated time. Three cars are dedicated for the local commute of the staff or guests who are staying on campus.
