Institute of Advanced Management and Technology, Meerut, was established in the year 2008 as a Meerut-affiliated college in Uttar Pradesh. It spreads over an area of 8 acres of land. IAMT offers a number of engineering courses to the aspiring students. IAMT is a co-educational institute, meaning male and female students study together. The college is fully committed to providing quality technical education and making the students professionally sound in their respective fields of study.

Institute of Advanced Management and Technology is affiliated with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. Institute of Advanced Management and Technology has available a variety of facilities supporting student life and their academic pursuits. The institute offers separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls; these are equipped with all basic amenities along with security measures. A well-stocked library acts as the academic backbone, maintaining more than 5,000 books on technical, scientific, and humanities topics. The campus is equipped with ultra-modern, well-furnished laboratories for physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, and electronic engineering in order to provide practical learning experiences. IAMT has a fully equipped gymnasium and sports such as badminton, basketball, volleyball, hockey, football, cricket, and many more for overall development of the physical well-being of students. Medical care is also ensured to be given on the campus by a full-time doctor, and transport facilities are provided for day scholars.

Institute of Advanced Management and Technology offers three full-time B.Tech programmes. Under the B.Tech category, the institute comprises three types of courses with 60 seats in each course, namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Information Technology. The duration of these programmes is four years. These programmes are offered in different branches of engineering to provide students with a variety of options in their careers associated with the field of technology. The total intake for students in all courses is 180. This is a relatively small intake and provides a good enough student-faculty ratio for personalised attention and quality education. 

Admission is done largely through national and state-level entrance exam. Scores for entrance at the national level are accepted from JEE Mains. The admission process at IAMT would, therefore, involve the selection of students based on the best ranks in these standardised tests, so that admissions at IAMT are absolutely fair and purely merit-based as well. IAMT’s focus on quality technical education is substantiated by well-equipped facilities and a variety of courses offered. The Institute seeks to provide an atmosphere congenial to the holistic development of students in respect to their academics and personalities so that they can have promising careers in a fast-changing technological world. Concentrating on some high-demand engineering disciplines, IAMT aspires to nurture competent professionals who can subsequently contribute significantly toward the technological advancement of the nation.
