Hislop College, Nagpur, established in 1883, has rightly emerged to be one of the city’s oldest affiliated colleges, with a history to be proud of of over 140 years. The college is centrally located in the heart of Nagpur, Maharashtra, and has accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The institute is spread over 7.4 acres of land, offering a variety of academic programs to a body of students totalling 4,272. The faculty strength of the institution is 78 committed educators.

Infrastructure is Well Developed. Each Stream has different floor. Like Science was in on 2nd floor and Arts in on 1st. Well maintained Classrooms. Has an Auditorium named Shaloom. HAs a Stage for programs. Separate labs for Practical work. Psychology classroom separate. Administrative area is separate. Overall its a Well maintained institute even though is almost 100years. Started as a school for 30 is now a big college for Junior college and Graduation (Bachelor Degree). It has all necessary Infrastructure and facilities needed and then some more. There is a whole floor dedicated to library it has both books section and reading space. Canteen area is clean and food is hygienic. Quality of food is also great.

Teaching Faculty are very well prepared about their subject. Many of them are scholars of their time. Some have got their books adopted by Nagpur university as part of syllabus. they are their subject expert. Not only that the encourage students for overall development. Many events are Conducted buy Students some under the supervision of teachers. They Include many activities from performance arts to Expos to Literary Recitals. Academically Sound Institution. I studied political science, Psychology and Economics as main three subjects. Teachers for those were well experienced. Psychology and political science faculty taught from books authored by themselves and was adopted by university as part of curriculum. If their are any significant update in the Curriculum or related fields as special lecture is conducted with all available subject mater experts.
