H. K. College of Pharmacy, one of the premier institutions as of 2006, was set up in Jogeshwari West, Mumbai. It is an affiliate, specialist college approved by AICTE and PCI that offers education in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The campus of HKCP measures 2 acres and houses a total of 287 students and 30 faculty members. It teaches under the institute’s curriculum structure two-degree programs: a 4-year B.Pharma and a 2-year M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics, both offered only by full-time modes.

The College has the following facilities to make the students’ learning more resourceful. The infrastructure is fully equipped, air-conditioned, and well-maintained, with a computer laboratory of 50 branded workstations having unlimited Internet facilities along with Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus. H.K. College of Pharmacy (HKCP), Mumbai, is an eminent institute specializing in Pharmaceutical Sciences. B.Pharma admissions are treated based on the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET). That is a state-level examination generally held in April or May each year. The M.Pharma (Pharmaceutics) admission is conducted on the basis of a valid Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). GPAT is a national-level entrance exam.
The basic eligibility for B.Pharma is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. For M.Pharma, candidates must have a B.Pharma degree from a recognized university. The College announces cutoffs and further eligibility criteria specific to the admission process before the admission session.
Application Process
The application process at H.K. College of Pharmacy, Mumbai, is different for B. Pharm and M. Pharm programs:
For B. Pharm:
1. Attend the MHT CET examination conducted by the Government of Maharashtra.
2. Register for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) supervised by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.

The selection is purely on merit and based on MHT-CET scores.
M.Pharma (Pharmaceutics): The M.Pharma program at HKCP in Pharmaceutics is a 2-year full-time course with an intake of 15 students. The admission procedure is through a valid GPAT score. Candidates must have completed their B.Pharma from any recognized university. The criterion for selection is based on merit in this national-level examination, GPAT.

Good Infrastructure. The atmosphere is suitable for students. The staff is really supportive and the faculty members are also very supportive. The college has all the necessary facilities as it should have. The classrooms are really spacious and the college is kept clean.

We also have students studying Masters and Masters is a graduation which requires trained professionals to teach the course. An air-conditioned state-of-the-art computer lab with 50 branded workstations networked with unlimited internet access and Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus, is part of the rich resourceful learning center of our Institute. The computer dome or the lab has upgraded computers with state-of-the-art computing resources providing one-to-one access to the students. The computer lab has the latest software applications and high-caliber UPS to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Cafeteria
The college cafeteria is a large spacious area, with a greenery view all around. The college cafeteria offers a variety of vegetarian refreshments and meals. It is the most popular place on campus, not only for physical refreshments but also for student bonding, discussions, and even work on assignments and projects. The Cafeteria not only provides a vibrant atmosphere and unleaded fuel for the day but also is an effective way to put forth a new learning method called the “Cafeteria approach”. This is a new method of learning in an informal manner which helps in nurturing interpersonal skills among students.

The college has the platform of HKKB (HK Knowledge Base) for organizing seminars at the Institute level as well as at the National level. We conduct a National Seminar once a year on a wide variety of topics. Every year posters and papers, review and research-based, are invited based on a theme. So far it’s been one of the successful highlights of HKCP. We also take this opportunity for Industry and academic interaction, because such an obvious kind of interaction does not occur in a structured manner, as both sides maintain a distant relationship.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college offers a secured Wi-Fi network to access high-speed wireless internet in a reliable manner anywhere in the campus building. Wi-Fi means ‘wireless fidelity’ and is a globally used wireless technology used without a cabled network.
