Gyan Roshani Lok Kalyan Sanstha, Janjgir, was established in the year of 2011 at Janjgir-Champa in Chhattisgarh. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has recognised this institution as co-educational and granted approval from the National Council for Teacher Education. The college is located on a 0.86-acre campus with only one course—B.Ed.—having a student enrolment capacity of 200. With a faculty strength of 15, the student-to-teacher ratio is considerably favourable to provide personalised attention and quality education. 

It has a whole range of facilities designed to enhance its learning experiences and overall development of the students. In the middle of these facilities is a well-stocked library rich in different books, titles, journals, and periodicals, inclusive of daily newspapers, enough to suffice the wide-ranging academic interests of the students. For the sports-minded and physically fit, grounds for extra-curricular activities and sports are available, with volleyball, badminton, shot put, discus, and indoor games such as carom and chess. Gyan Roshani Lok Kalyan Sanstha also has a gym for students who intend to keep their bodies fit. In the pursuit of giving complementary experiences to the theoretical part of the curriculum, departmental laboratories have been established. The campus is fully equipped with modern IT infrastructure, allowing students to keep pace with innovations in education.
