The college hostels accommodate 1300 students in single- and double-bedroom, three-, four-bed, and six-bed rooms. A gym facility is also attached to a well-maintained swimming pool. The college has a library facility for all students. Gramodaya Mahavidyalaya also provides a sufficient number and quality of personnel to ensure excellence and to function effectively and efficiently. Gramodaya Mahavidyalaya  library is equipped with computers for users to access library resources and browse the internet, lockers for temporary storage, and a quiet zone for silent study

The college has a sports facility. to achieve a healthier lifestyle while coping with the pressures of studying, one needs to be healthy both emotionally and physically. As a part of this process, VIT emphasizes the importance of sports and considers them an integral part of the curriculum. VIT has a number of centres for physical education and sports activities that help the students maintain fitness and develop a competitive spirit. Its numerous outdoor playgrounds and indoor courts are spread over a 20-acre area.

The college has a computer lab, a space that provides computer services to a defined community. Computer labs are typically provided by libraries to the public, by academic institutions to students who attend the institution, or by other institutions to the public or to people affiliated with that institution.

The college has firmly believed in providing its students exposure to national and international knowledge experts, through regular national and international conferences/symposia and workshops hosted on campus. It is with this view that a wide choice of modern conference facilities has been meticulously planned and incorporated into the GSS campus. ‘Anna Audi ‘ commonly used by students is nothing short of a marvel. Able to accommodate 1800 students and spread over an area of 15436 sq. feet, it has been built with centralized air conditioners, Wi-fi service, and a spectacular stage along with green rooms and the perfect amount of lighting. This auditorium is used for various events and conferences.

The college has made all efforts to ensure the commuting of students - both inside and outside - as comfortable and accessible as possible. The university buses transport all students from, and to, all the locations in and around Vellore. This helps the day scholars and local residents reach college on time with comfort. With a luxurious and large campus, travelling from one building to another during urgent hours might be tough - to solve this issue, Shuttle Cabs run all around the college during all the active hours of the day. Shuttle cabs not only take students from any point to any point, but they do so at meagre prices.

The college has been amply blessed with three fully equipped multi-cuisine canteens present at three strategic locations in the college. Two at the far ends of the college, one each in GD Naidu Block and the Silver Jubilee Tower, and one more at the centre of the college near the Technology Tower. All three canteens are on a contract basis with external caterers and provide quality food at very student-friendly prices. Hosting a wide array of cuisines and dishes, they cater to students' home-style food from every corner of the country with no compromise on quality.

The college campus is a self-sufficient enclave with black-topped, well-lit roads. Its facilities include a canteen, a post office, STD/ISD pay phones, courier service, a book store for all kinds of text books and stationery, copier facilities, and even a digital photo studio. Standby power generators are provided in the institute, hostels, and well-maintained gardens. A cable television facility is provided on each floor of each hostel.

The College has set up multiple ATMs of several different banks across the campus. These are strategically located for easy access by students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
