Government Polytechnic College Adoor which came into existance in 1994 is one of the premier technical institutions situated at Manakkala P.O., Adoor, Pathanamthitta District, Kerala. This college is proud to have developed several facilities that support learning activities of students in their college. The school possesses a well equipped library with a general, old and book bank sections with 6666 books. Sport lovers can join our college Health Club to share a Modern Gym having all kinds of sophisticated equipment. Coaching as a module offered to sportsmen and women allows them to be coached in various disciplines, including volleyball football, table tennis, chess, badminton, cricket and athletics. Attached to technological development, the Central Computing Facility (CCF) of the college offers Internet connection and computing services to all departments, faculty offices, and the office of the administration.

- Gym
The College Health Club houses an ultra-modern gymnasium, Staff, and students are free to use the gymnasium under a trainer. Health Culb with motorized Treadmill, Manual Tread Mill, elliptical Bike, Body Twister, Pec Dec machine, High lat pulley/Rowing pulley, Leg press heavy machine, Leg curl & leg extension machine, Weighing Machine, Gym ball, Facilities for free weight exercises has been attached to the Health Club.
- Library
The college has a well-equipped and fully computerized library with a moderate collection of 6666 books. The total number of books comprises the general section, old books, and book bank scheme. The book bank section is solely functioning under the SC/ST development fund from the government of Kerala strictly for the benefit of SC/ST students of the college. An informative journal and periodical section are also working under the library. Students are getting nascent and valuable information through these facilities for their project work and seminar reports. A separate reference section is working under the library. Students and teachers from polymer technology and Architecture departments highly depend on the reference section books. Library digitalization works are undergoing. As a whole Library is the mirror of the institution.
- Sports
The College Department caters to the physical and recreational needs of students; coaching is offered in Volleyball, Football, Table Tennis, Chess, Badminton, Cricket, and Athletics. The Department boasts of facilities like a Fitness Centre for both the staff and the students of the college proper team selections were done, 59 students participated in the zonal games, 12 students participated in the state games and 2 students participated in the state athletics. A special coaching camp was arranged for volleyball, athletics, badminton, and cricket. Net practice facilities for the cricket team have been arranged on the college campus.
- I.T Infrastructure
The College's availability of good quality equipment like 25 desktop computers with 10 KVA-UPS, Printer, DLP, Design software, etc, makes it conduct architecture design classes effectively.

A canteen facility is available on the Campus to meet the daily needs of staff and students in the College.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
- Alumni Associations
The College Alumni Association consists of student members as well as staff members of the college. The association has organized meet-up programs at this Institution and other places every 26th of December.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff. This lab is equipped with High-speed, broadband internet connection through OFC which is provided by BSNL under the scheme of NATIONAL MISSION FOR EDUCATION under the Ministry for HRD. This will ensure ample net facilities on the campus. The net lab will be available to the students from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

Central Computing Facility (CCF) is a central facility, established in College that caters to the needs of academic departments and various sections of the institute. CCF is instituted in a separate Room. The Centre has one of the envying infrastructures in the region in terms of computing facilities, The Internet facility Centre is well equipped with the latest machines. It provides Internet facilities to the users in the CCF, all Departments, the Library, faculty rooms, and the Administrative office. Each member of the institute is provided with a unique login ID to make the best use of the facility. The Central Computing Facility is dedicated to creating and maintaining a computing environment providing quality professional services to students, staff, and administration. Students are encouraged to make full use of the facility for academic learning besides training themselves in modern computer applications and software skills.
