Government Medical College Thrissur or GMC Thrissur as common is located in Mulagunnathukavu, Thrissur district of Kerala state was established in the year 1982. NMC affiliated college, a 250 acre land having multiple medical courses are available for student’s choice. The faculty commits 537 self-motivated personnel to offer quality health care education to the students at GMC Thrissur. It has 25 courses in 5 degrees that meet medical education needs for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Government Medical College has excellent facilities developed in providing great opportunities for the students of GMC Thrissur to learn. The college also offers hostel and the accommodation is different for both male and female students so that they feel more comfortable. A good library will indeed complement medical learning by providing the necessary learning materials for medical research.
