Government First Grade College, Channapatna(GFGCC)is a chronicle and honourable institution situated in the Rampur district of the state of Karnataka, India. The college has a system of open competition for admissions based on merit, thereby ensuring that only the most deserving candidates are chosen for various programmes.  The admission cycle for GFGCC begins during summer, prior to the beginning of the academic year, which usually ranges between August and September.  GFGCC, broad in its scope, stretches mainly over undergraduate and postgraduate programmes among various other disciplines.

Each of these programmes has an intake of 760 students sanctioned by the college.

GFGCC B.Com Admission Process

The college has the B.Com programme for a maximum of 600 students, sanctioned by the college. This programme is recommended for students with an interest in a career in commerce and business.

GFGCC B.Sc Admission Process

Several B.Sc programmes are offered by GFGCC for science enthusiasts:

• B.Sc in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology
• B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
