Verified Review

College Infrastructure

The college is a very a small college with an area of just 5.5 acres. Hence the space is just enough for all the classrooms and Labs. The labs for ECE and IT is very good and well equipped. But the labs for electrical and mechanical is under construction and would be make proper in one year. Due to space limitation, hostel inside the campus is available only for girls. The whole college is well equipped with WiFi service and is accessible from everywhere. The sports facilities are almost zero.

Academics

I'm currently pursuing civil engineering. Teaching quality is good. The curriculum is not career oriented. The curriculum does not include the recent developments in the field. The professors are resourceful and they teach well.

College Infra

Our college provides all the basic infrastructure and they are well maintained. Hostels arw student friendly with wifi connections. There is a sports Centre and a resourceful library. The living spaces are clean. The college canteen provides very affordable and hygienic food.

Campus Life

There are many extra curricular activities which can boost enthusiasm in students. Students can engage in arts sports or literary competitions which are being conducted frequently. There are motivational and skill development classes conducted very often

Placements

Quality of placement is very low. The salary package is about 3 to 4 lakh per annum on an average. It mostly goes to IT but all the branches can apply and get placed. Only about 10% students get placed every year

Value For Money

Fee is very low about 8000 Rs per semester. The quality of teaching and campus experience is worth the fee paid. There is a lack of infrastructure as it is a government college. Apart from that, all aspects are good

Academics

Academics is pretty good and teachers are very much supportive in all your initiatives and studies. The teachers are also well qualified and has a lot of experience in guiding students. The curriculum followed is that of Kerala Technological University. The teachers notes are also at par with the GATE notes standard.

College Infra

The college is a very a small college with an area of just 5.5 acres. Hence the space is just enough for all the classrooms and Labs. The labs for ECE and IT is very good and well equipped. But the labs for electrical and mechanical is under construction and would be make proper in one year. Due to space limitation, hostel inside the campus is available only for girls. The whole college is well equipped with WiFi service and is accessible from everywhere. The sports facilities are almost zero.

Campus Life

The Campus Life is just amazing. A student gets a lot of opportunities to improve their soft skills such as communication, leadership, management etc. this is because of the various activities conducted here every year. The college fest, Arts fest, and Technical fest everything is completely conducted by the students and teachers are very much supportive in those things. The campus is located in the heart of thiruvananthapuram city and hence everything is available at the tip of or hands.

Placements

Placements are very less and placement cell is not very good. The highest package offered is 5lpa. Lowest offered is 3lpa. Average salary is 3.5 lpa. Almost all the companies that visited were IT companies. The college offered placement training to us months before the starting of placements. That was pretty good and helpful. Among the 400 students in one batch nearly 150 were placed in the year 2018 and placement statistics went lower after that

Value For Money

Since this is a Government college the fees is very less. The fee was just Rs 8000/- per year. Along with that there were some extra charges, but everything is very meagre. Hence of course it was worth the money. Just like the cost the facilities are also less, so one can't complain.

Overall the college is better college under govt of kerala

Verified ReviewPlacements

Quality of placement is very low. The salary package is about 3 to 4 lakh per annum on an average. It mostly goes to IT but all the branches can apply and get placed. Only about 10% students get placed every year

Great academics and Environment, but poor placements

Verified ReviewPlacements

Placements are very less and placement cell is not very good. The highest package offered is 5lpa. Lowest offered is 3lpa. Average salary is 3.5 lpa. Almost all the companies that visited were IT companies. The college offered placement training to us months before the starting of placements. That was pretty good and helpful. Among the 400 students in one batch nearly 150 were placed in the year 2018 and placement statistics went lower after that
