Government Degree College Narsampet was established in 1984 and is one of the prestigious and innovative colleges of Warangal in Telangana State. Till date, this affiliated college is located on an 18-acre and has been tasked with the responsibility of incubating young minds for the past three and a half decades. NAAC accredited the institution and it provides a large number of undergraduate programmes. Thus, the current enrolment of the college is 273 students and the faculty consists of 14 members the college has a good environment for learning. The institution provides 4 courses from three degrees, arts, commerce, and sciences that cater to the needs of various learners with different fields of ambitions.

There are a variety of facilities in the college that are aimed are improving the learning outcomes as well as the all-round student development. As part of smart and diverse academic content, we have a library with an adequate collection of books and an internet facility of 100 Mbps with Wi-Fi. This is regarding the digital integration and it progresses through the compound as the campus Wi-Fi facility offers the students constant access to the internet resources at any time of the day. The science section includes accurately equipped labs for learning biology- Botany and Zoology, Physics and Chemistry. The technological development is well implemented through Information Technology Installation; the college boasts of a Digital Library, T-SAT Cell, an English Language Laboratory and a Virtual Classroom to ready students for the digital world.

The college consists of Library with a good collection of books, serving 328 students and 17 full-time teachers with High-Speed Internet Service of 100 Mbps and Wi-Fi connectivity to all the students. The valuable services of librarians are always ready to offer library services to the students and the staff.

The college has laboratories such as Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry and Computer science. All the science departments maintaining Records of maintenance accounts maintained and supervised by the In-charges of the Departments concerned.
- I.T Infrastructure
The college is well equipped with adequate infrastructure with good laboratories in science departments, English Language Lab, T-SAT Cell, Digital Library, TSKC lab, Computer Lab, and Reprographic facilities besides a Virtual classroom.
- Sports
The college has Physical Education and the Committee looks after the facilities provided for Sports and Games (Indoor and Outdoor) and upgrades them as and when the need arises accordingly. The In-charge Physical Director personally takes care of the students to make them take part in various Sports and Games competitions at District/State/National Level and Inter-Collegiate/InterUniversity/Inter-State accordingly. Competitive Spirit and Physical Fitness are always kept in the conscience of the students. Achievers are honored with Certificates and Medals. The Department organized State-Level Yuvatarangam Literary Events in the years 2016-17 to 2019-20 as per the guidelines of the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Telangana.
