Goalpara Polytechnic is the abbreviation of the Goalpara Polytechnic that has been functional since 2017. This polytechnic is considered one of the most noticeable technical institutes at Goalpara, Assam. Actually, Goalpara Polytechnic is a well-recognised AICTE-approved affiliated college that provides quality education in engineering disciplines. The institute has a wide spread campus of 9.17 acres and offers a total of 447 students enrolment and a faculty strength of 2. 

Goalpara Polytechnic offers three full-time diploma courses in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering for three-year duration. The institute is committed to providing a sound learning environment for its students. To cater to the needs of their academic growth and personal development, it provides many facilities to the students. The college library is an ocean of knowledge and offers varied resources to students for enhancing their learning procedure. Female students are supported by a well-equipped girls’ hostel having an approximate capacity of 60. Sports enthusiasts may also strike a work-life balance by utilizing the sports facilities available in the college. Along with institute-level laboratories, the institute also has departmental-specific laboratories that provide hands-on learning and the practical application of concepts developed theoretically. The mid-day meal requirements of staff and students are catered to by a campus cafeteria. The institution has a college health center with first aid facilities, and additional healthcare services are available at the Government Health Care Center nearby. Goalpara Polytechnic offers focused streams of engineering diploma courses. All three courses are full-time for three years. The courses offered are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The intake capacity is 60 students in each of these programmes, hence the annual intake capacity is 180 seats throughout the courses.
